Designed for riders who want to conquer high-altitude passes and technical trails without the exhaustion, this tour utilizes the power of premium electric mountain bikes to unlock the most remote corners of the High Atlas.
Traverse through ancient Berber villages, climb to high plateaus with 360-degree views of Mount Toubkal, and glide through lush juniper forests. You will share mint tea with local families, navigate vibrant valleys, and end your journey in the “stone desert” of Agafay. This 5-day expedition is a testament to the joy of modern mountain biking—providing the satisfying thrill of the trail with the convenience of an electric boost.
The Expedition Itinerary
Day 1: Ourika Valley to Imlil – Transfer from Marrakech to the Ourika Valley. Conquer the Tadmamt pass with ease before descending through Asni to the mountain village of Imlil. Overnight in a traditional mountain lodge.
Day 2: High Imenan Valley – Tackle the zig-zag route to Tizi n’Tamaterte (2300m) for a panoramic view of Toubkal. Glide down off-road trails through cultivated terraces and ancient villages of the Imenan Valley.
Day 3: Azzaden Valley Traverse – Navigate a unique route through the foothills toward Azzaden. Summit Tizi n’Tacht for an impressive lunch spot before a colorful descent into the lush Ouirgane Valley.
Day 4: Amizmiz Foothills – Effortless riding through ancient olive groves and over Tizi Ouzla. Enjoy smooth, flowing off-road tracks through dry hills and rural fields ending in the Amizmiz Valley.
Day 5: Agafay Desert Finish – Start in the crisp mountain air before crossing a high plateau for lunch. A final descent leads into the “Mars-like” Agafay Desert for a sunset finish and transfer back to Marrakech.
