From the hair-pin bends of the legendary Tizi n’Test Pass (2100m) to the lush palm-lined canyons of Paradise Valley, every mile offers a new horizon. You will ride through argan forests where goats climb trees, explore the painted “Blue Rocks” of Tafraoute, and finish your journey in the white-washed coastal gem of Essaouira. This is more than a cycling tour; it is a profound human experience immersed in legendary Moroccan hospitality and world-class road cycling terrain.
The Expedition Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech Welcome – Arrival and transfer to your traditional Riad in the heart of the Medina.
Day 2: Ourika to Asni Valley – Warm up on undulating mountain roads heading into the High Atlas foothills with stunning valley views.
Day 3: The Legendary Tizi n’Test – Conquer the 2100m pass for dramatic views over the Sousse Valley. Descent through citrus groves to stay at a converted palace in Oulad Berhil.
Day 4: Anti-Atlas & Blue Rocks – Transition into the semi-desert Anti-Atlas mountains. Ride through argan country and almond groves to the granite landscape of Tafraoute.
Day 5: Descent to the Atlantic – Ride spectacular balcony roads past ancient hilltop Kasbahs, ending with an exhilarating descent to the coastal city of Agadir.
Day 6: Paradise Valley Discovery – A highlight ride through a narrow palm-filled gorge toward the high plateau and the cultural hub of Imouzzer.
Day 7: The Coastal Road to Essaouira – Wind through fertile valleys and rocky hills to reach the Atlantic coast. Transfer to the charming 15th-century port of Essaouira.
Day 8: Essaouira to Marrakech – A morning to explore the artisan workshops and sea walls of Essaouira before returning to the vibrant energy of Marrakech.
