Overview
Conquer the wild heart of Morocco on our 4-Day Atlas Mountain Bike Adventure. This tour is a masterfully curated journey through the rugged High Atlas, designed for riders who want to push their limits on steep technical climbs and feel the rush of high-speed descents into the soul of Berber territory.
Traverse a legendary circuit including the Imlil and Ourika Valleys and the spectacular limestone Kik Plateau. You will witness the High Atlas landscape transform through the seasons—from the emerald greens of spring to the snow-capped majesty of winter. Experience authentic mountain life as you navigate ancient mule tracks, share mint tea with local families, and overnight in traditional guesthouses tucked into the foothills of Mount Toubkal. This is a profound immersion into a different side of Morocco, delivered at an adrenaline-fueled pace.
The Adventure Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech to Imlil via Kik Plateau – Depart for the foothills to Lake Lalla Takerkoust. Conquer the climb to the Kik Plateau for sweeping views of Toubkal. Ride through terraced gardens and adobe villages before descending into Asni and transferring to the mountain hub of Imlil.
Day 2: Imenane Valley Loop (2230m) – Tackle a challenging ascent to the Tizi n’Tamatert pass. Enjoy dramatic vistas of the High Atlas summits before launching into a snaking descent past “beehive” villages clinging to the dry mountain hillsides.
Day 3: Imlil to Ourika Valley – Return to Asni for a long, physical climb to the Tademamt Pass (1800m). Witness the vast Haouz Plain contrasting with the peaks above before navigating a beautiful route overlooking the lush Ourika Valley.
Day 4: Timenkar Plateau to Marrakech – Our final ascent to 2,450m for an elite view of the High Atlas peaks. Finish with a triumphant technical descent into Setti Fatma for your transfer back to the vibrant streets of Marrakech.
