Conquer the roof of North Africa on our 8-Day High Atlas E-Bike Expedition. This journey is a masterpiece of mountain cycling, taking you through remote Berber villages that cling to the steep slopes of the High Atlas. From the vast Azgour high plateaus to the majestic base of Mount Toubkal (4167m), the electric boost of our premium bikes allows you to experience high-altitude challenges with effortless refinement.
Traverse a kaleidoscope of landscapes—from lush oak forests and green pastures to rugged volcanic canyons and arid stone deserts. You will share traditional meals with local families, navigate technical singletracks, and cross high mountain passes reaching up to 2300m. This tour perfectly balances the thrill of the trail with authentic cultural immersion, including traditional Hammam (steam bath) sessions to rejuvenate after a day in the saddle.
The Expedition Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech Arrival – Airport transfer and welcome to your traditional Riad in the historic city center.
Day 2: Gateway to the West Atlas – Transfer to Amizmiz, a vibrant Berber market town. Enjoy a traditional meal and briefing from your local expert guide.
Day 3: Azgour High Plateau – Ascend through green pine forests to the Azgour plateau (1800m). Conquer the Toukline pass (2000m) for your first breathtaking view of Mount Toubkal.
Day 4: Canyons & Cultural Tea – Cross the Tizi N’Tilfatin pass (1800m) to reach the dramatic Imi n-Tala gorge. Share mint tea with a local family before descending to Ait Zitoun for a traditional Hammam session.
Day 5: Olive Groves to Ouirgane – Ride through vast olive groves and original villages far from the tourist trail. Cross the Ouzla pass (1600m) and descend into the lush Ouirgane valley.
Day 6: Azzaden Valley Traverse – Navigate a technical singletrack descent into the Azzaden valley. Transfer to Armed (2000m), the highest trailhead in the Atlas, for a stay with a local family.
Day 7: The High Pass (2300m) – Tackle the Tizi N’Tametert pass. Choose between technical singletracks or scenic mountain roads as you descend into the lively market town of Asni.
Day 8: Departure – Final Medina exploration or palace visit before your private transfer to Marrakech Airport.
