Escape the hustle of Marrakech for a high-octane mountain bike day trip into the heart of the High Atlas. Our Ourika Valley expedition is a challenging, spectacular journey designed for riders who want to experience Morocco’s rugged terrain in a single, unforgettable day.
This is mountain biking at its most authentic: fast gravel off-roads, winding donkey tracks, and miles of dusty singletrack. You will climb steadily to the Tizi n’Tadmamt pass (1813m), enjoying panoramic views across the Haouz Plains before launching into a legendary 10km technical downhill toward Asni. Ride through remote Berber villages where stone houses cling to the hillsides, and experience a window into a bygone era.
The Experience
09:00: Departure – Morning collection from your Marrakech accommodation and a short scenic transfer to the Ourika Valley.
The Ascent: Tizi n’Tadmamt – A steady 14km climb snaking up the mountainside, gaining altitude through traditional Berber villages with massive Atlas views.
The Descent: Sidi Fares to Asni – After reaching 1813m, enjoy a 10km high-speed downhill section through rugged terrain and technical tracks.
16:00: Return – After 4-5 hours of intense riding, we transfer you back to the vibrant streets of Marrakech.
