Transfers from Marrakech to Imlil, This is the start of the riding on the first day. We start with a climb! Not a tough one but good enough to put pressure on the pedals to make sure everything is working. At the top of the pass, we usually stop for mint tea and biscuits before heading for the first real off-road through the villages of Tacheddirt, Tamguist and Amssakrou. This is good, flowing dirt road for a couple of hours which drops us into the riverbed for lunch. After a good, long lazy lunch we’re off again. A short climb which turns into a nice off road descent. At the end of this trail we stop in a berber house for the night at Asni or Imi Oughelad.

After breakfast we leave Asni / Imi Oughelad following a dirt road that climbs steadily, zigzagging up to allow us to enjoy a very nice view over the Ait Maizane valley, the neighboring valleys and all the small passes. We continue to the Tacht pass where we will stop for drinks and some nuts, then continue along the Azzaden valley on off road passing through several villages to get to Ouirgane.

We will bike through the olive trees over to Tizi Ouzla to get to the Amizmiz valley and come into it from the top passing through many villages and riding smooth flowing off-road that go through fields and dry hills, after lunch we continue riding through the the fields and berber villages to our end point, meet our driver and transfers back to Marrakech.
