What to Expect
From the intoxicating city of Marrakech, we drive across the Atlas Mountains to South Morocco and begin biking in the magnificent Todra Gorge, whose towering walls attract rock climbers from all over the world. Ascending on tarmac and then on hard pack jeep roads, we find ourselves in a remote mountain area, with nomadic Berber shepherds and views of the Atlas peaks.

Day 1 – Marrakech
Meet your guide at the Marrakech Menara airport and transfer to your Hotel or Riad
Day 2 – Marrakech – Toundoute
Transfer in 4 x 4 the central High Atlas by Demnat and Fedghate pass which culminates at 2199 m down to Skoura by a vertiginous mountain to splendid panoramas road. We will begin our MTB adventure at the village of Ghessat for a warm-up to the Palm Grove of Toundout, on the South side of the Mgoun. Night in a guesthouse . Transfer: 210km / MTB: 32km / ↑: 250 m, ↓: 100 m / difficulty: ▲▲▲▲▲ / Technique: ▲▲▲▲▲
Day 3 – Roses Valley – Gorges Dades
This morning, full departure is up to a small Valley before starting a short climb to the plateau of Ait Zaghar. Long stage to achieve the superb gorges El Qati, crossing several times bed of the River on a single rail (if not too much water). We come out of the canyon to cross a Green Valley dotted with villages of Earth. After Boutaghrar, a last plate separates us from the Dades Valley where we spend the night in a guesthouse . Day 4 – Djebel Saghro
A first climb to enjoy the great view of the Valley of M’ goun, before pedaling along the Valley of the Dades. Between fields and Kasbahs we will reach the foothills of the Jebel Saghro by the col de Tadourt, a passage difficult and sports. Night at the village in a guesthouse. MTB: 76km / ↑: 1050 m, ↓: 1350 m / difficulty: ▲▲▲▲▲ / Technique: ▲▲▲▲▲
Day 5 – Djebel Saghro – Draa Valley
A wonderful day cycling through the Jebel Saghro, in the middle of huge and shredded trays, high cliffs and steep peaks, tabular escarpments and deep canyons. We reach the Valley of the Draa valley , where we spend the night in nearby Tansikht. MTB: 65km / ↑: 1260 m, ↓: 1520 m / difficulty: ▲▲▲▲▲ / Technique: ▲▲▲▲▲
Day 6 – Along Draa Valley
The last step of this unique adventure, takes place in the mythical Valley of the Draa. A mountain bike hike between lush oases and palm groves, defying the Sahara. You will meet the people ‘Kasbah’ and oases. Night at the village of Tissergate. MTB: 72km / ↑: 500 m, ↓: 600 m / difficulty: ▲▲▲▲▲ / Technique: ▲▲▲▲▲
Day 7 – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
A final round of wheel to Zagora where our sport bike challenge ends. Return to Marrakech by the col de Tichka. Night in Riad or Hotel, transfer: 320km
